Greer Shaw is a founding partner and Co-Managing Partner of Graves & Shaw LLP.  Greer has 25 years of experience in intellectual property and complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution.  In the intellectual property area, he has litigated numerous patent infringement matters involving a wide variety of technologies, including telecommunications, user interfaces, water treatment, cable connectors, digital postage, network monitoring, transportation/packaging devices, plastics, medical and dental devices and therapies, portable media players, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, chip packaging, flooring products, and data storage, among others.  In addition, Greer has represented clients in a variety of trademark matters, including cases involving dental products and financial services.  Greer has also handled various trade secret matters, including disputes involving misappropriated technology and business information.  Greer’s complex commercial litigation experience includes cases involving breaches of contract, business torts, unfair competition, antitrust, construction disputes, First Amendment, Commerce Clause, and securities litigation.

Greer has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as before various bankruptcy courts and the International Trade Commission.  He is experienced with all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution, including pre-suit investigations, budgeting and case management, joint‐defense arrangements, claim and defense strategy, fact and expert discovery, dispositive and non-dispositive motion practice, hearings, ADR, and settlement.  In addition to arguing countless motions over the years, Greer has tried cases before judges and juries and has briefed and argued appeals in federal court.
